Not to be a critic, but the concept is absolutely fantastic!!! It would be cool, however, if you revisited this and added more detail? Perhaps cogs, or more pipeworks, additional distressing to the buildings, just suggestion of course. There is a lot of red in the scene so I think it would be cool to add glowing embers to the smoke stacks.

mostly steampunk takes place in england (in all the situations i encounter), so it's really refreshing to see an asian take on the subject! very well done.

I think the (stone) stairs are a bit too well-off. Of course, there might be a high level of maintenance, but I think it would add a lot to the atmosphere to have a few of the steps be battered, at least just a wee bit.
(I also know that this has been mentioned before, but the smoke has very, closing in on overly, 'marked' shadows and the tree is a bit too round and 'smooth'.)

All that said, this is my new desktop background. :)
